Hillcrest and Tamahere Medical Centre is owned by Primary Health Care Limited (PHCL). Our vision is to deliver primary care that supports all people to thrive by realising their health and wellbeing potential. Many of our staff have been part of our team for up to 20 years, which we think is a testament to how great we are!

PHCL takes an innovative, proactive approach to delivering the best care for each patient, with the support of both multi-disciplinary and non-clinical practice teams. We have a strong equity focus on improving health and wellbeing outcomes for Māori and Pasifika, and our collaborative way of working helps us shape our services to suit the communities we work in, because we know health isn’t ‘one size fits all’.
