Assemble Recruitment is proud to be partnering with Silverfin Capital in their search for an Assistant Property Manager to join their Auckland-based team.

With a portfolio exceeding $620 million AUM across retail, office and industrial property, Silverfin has established a strong reputation for delivering professional property and asset management services on behalf of investors.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a property professional looking to build their career within commercial property management. Working closely with experienced Property Managers, you will gain exposure across all aspects of property management, including tenant relationships, leasing support, facilities coordination, financial administration, health and safety, and project delivery.

This role offers broad exposure across commercial property management and would suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, building relationships, and taking ownership of a diverse range of responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain property and tenancy information within ‘re-leased’ ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information
  • Support lease administration, rent reviews and tenancy obligations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors and stakeholders
  • Coordinate service providers, maintenance works and facilities-related matters
  • Assist with health and safety management, audits and compliance activities
  • Support leasing initiatives and vacant space strategies across the portfolio
  • Assist with budgeting, operating expense reconciliations and arrears management
  • Contribute to investor reporting, board reporting and portfolio administration
  • Support capital works and development projects as require

About you

  • A degree in Property, Business or a related discipline
  • Previous experience in commercial property would be favourable
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while taking initiative when required
