About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga
As the Adviser Operations & Compliance Lead, you are responsible for supporting the effective operation, governance, and compliance of the Adviser Distribution business unit.
The role ensures key risk, compliance, reporting, and operational processes are well managed, accurate, and fit for purpose, while supporting business initiatives, projects, and stakeholder engagement.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong controls, improving data quality and reporting, and enabling the broader adviser team to operate efficiently and in line with regulatory and business requirements.
- Support risk, compliance and governance, including controls, BCPs and compliance records
- Monitor, track and escalate incidents, ensuring timely resolution
- Coordinate regulatory responses and maintain accurate documentation
- Support audits, reviews and control testing with Internal Audit and Compliance
- Track findings and ensure timely remediation
- Coordinate Distribution input into projects and support delivery, including UAT
- Prepare Adviser and Key Account reporting and maintain data quality and governance
- Develop and maintain reporting, dashboards and communication datasets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support high-quality communications and presentations

We're looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a structured, governance-led environment. You bring strong insurance industry experience, underpinned by solid technical knowledge of the market, and a clear understanding of risk, compliance and operational processes within financial services.
You'll bring:
