About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga

Drive growth and elevate adviser performance across nib NZ's Health & Living business.

In this national leadership role, you will lead the strategy for adviser growth, engagement and capability-strengthening nib's value proposition and delivering clear, compelling messaging to market that supports sustainable growth and positive customer outcomes.

You will design and deliver scalable education, communication and support frameworks that improve adviser productivity, capability and performance across the network, ensuring consistent execution nationally and alignment with regulatory requirements.

As a people leader, you will lead and develop a high-performing national team, fostering strong engagement, accountability and collaboration to achieve growth and capability priorities.

About you | Ko Wai Koe

You bring extensive experience within the insurance industry, underpinned by strong technical knowledge and a deep understanding of market dynamics. You have a proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans that deliver measurable business outcomes and drive sustainable growth.

With highly developed account and relationship management skills, you excel at building and maintaining trusted partnerships across Adviser networks. You have demonstrated success in increasing Adviser productivity and expanding active Adviser numbers through targeted engagement and support initiatives.

You are also experienced in designing and using engagement metrics-such as webinar attendance, event participation and feedback scores-to inform decision-making, enhance effectiveness and continuously improve adviser engagement strategies.

You'll bring:

  • Relevant degree qualification in a related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience
  • Proven experience in campaign effectiveness and Adviser uptake
  • Knowledge of nib products (desirable)
  • Extensive previous experience in customer service and delivery roles (preferred)
  • Broad financial services experience (preferred)
  • Sound experience in quality and timeliness of reporting and insights (preferred)
