About the Role
Join Gallagher Security's Commercial team and play a key role in turning data into competitive advantage. As a Commercial Analyst, you'll uncover insights from financial, pricing, customer, product, and operational data, helping leaders make informed decisions that drive growth, profitability, and performance across our global business.
Working alongside the Commercial Manager and Pricing Analysts, you'll tackle complex business challenges, build commercial models, identify opportunities, and deliver recommendations that create real impact.
What you’ll be doing:
Develop commercial analysis to support strategic and operational decision making across Gallagher Security.
Analyse business performance, investigate key drivers and translate findings into practical recommendations.
Connect financial, pricing, customer, product and operational data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Build robust financial and commercial models to support planning, forecasting, scenario analysis and investment decisions.
Present clear, commercially meaningful insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Improve analytical processes, reporting, templates and tools to strengthen commercial decision support.
Explore opportunities to use automation, AI and emerging analytical technologies to improve efficiency and insight quality.
About You
You're a naturally curious and commercially minded analyst who looks beyond the numbers to uncover what's really driving performance. You thrive on making sense of complex information, identifying patterns and opportunities, and turning insight into clear, actionable recommendations that influence smarter business decisions.
What you’ll bring:
A Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or a related discipline, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent experience in a commercial or analytical environment.
Proven experience in a commercial, financial, business analysis or analytical role supporting decision making.
Strong analytical and modelling capability, including experience working with complex datasets and analytical tools.
Commercial acumen and an understanding of the drivers of business performance, growth and profitability.
Experience using ERP, CRM, business intelligence or other business systems to support analysis.
Well-developed critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills.
The ability to present evidence-based recommendations clearly to a range of stakeholders.
A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with strong attention to detail and data integrity.
