We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager – Woolworths NZ to play a critical role in driving strategic growth within one of our most important retail partners. This role is responsible for developing and executing customer business plans, delivering sales and margin growth, identifying new opportunities, and building strong multi-level relationships across Woolworths NZ business.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Deliver agreed sales, volume, revenue, profitability, and growth targets.
  • Lead annual planning, forecasting, promotional execution, and business reviews.
  • Identify category, ranging, promotional, and new product development opportunities to drive sustainable growth.
  • Provide accurate forecasting and work closely with Planning, Supply Chain, Marketing, Category, and Finance teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Ability to balance immediate customer needs with long-term strategic growth opportunities while ensuring all commercial activities comply with company policies and relevant industry obligations.

What You'll Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in Key Account Management, Category Management, Business Development, or a similar FMCG sales role.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical capability, with a proven ability to interpret market and performance data to drive sales growth, improve margins, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Outstanding negotiation and influencing capabilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and influence outcomes across multiple stakeholders.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related discipline would be advantageous.
