We are a residential construction company established in early 2024, specializing in residential carpentry services across Auckland. Since our establishment, we have been committed to delivering high-quality workmanship, reliable service, and professional standards on every project.
Due to continued business growth and an increasing workload, we are looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will work on a variety of residential construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and general carpentry work.
Job Description : The role will include, but not limited to:
To study drawings and specifications to decide what materials to be used and relevant installation procedures
To cut materials with chainsaw, assembling and nailing cut and shaped parts with tools such as drills
To repair exiting wood planks with chainsaw and electric planner
To establish the framework of structures
To erect framework and roof framing, lay floorboard and check the trueness of structures
To nail fascia panels, sheathing roofs and ceiling batten, fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
To assemble prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
To cut wood joints with tools such as chainsaw
May construct concrete formwork
May work with plastic laminates, Perspex and metals
Other duties may be reasonably required by the business owner or director
Job pre-requisites
At least 2 years’ relevant working experience with verified evidence and experience gained in the same industry will be considered as meeting the requirements
Relevant qualifications are preferable but not a must
Attention to details and a hard-working attitude.
