Due to sustained growth and a project pipeline that shows no signs of slowing, our client is seeking an established Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their high-performing Auckland team. This is a rare opportunity to work across an exceptionally diverse range of asset classes from commercial towers and residential developments to major infrastructure, healthcare, education, industrial, and mixed-use projects, giving you constant variety, steady workflow, and genuine career runway.

Key Responsibilities
- Liaising with clients, architects, and main contractors
- Identifying and facilitating new business opportunities
- Master plan and feasibility budgets
- Estimating
- Cost checking of developing design
- Value engineering
- Tender evaluations and analysis
- Contract negotiations
- Cash flow projections
- Procurement
- Cost reporting
- Evaluation of variations
- Payment recommendations
- Final account reporting
- Claims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claims
- Investment analysis
- Formulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plans
Qualifications
- Proven experience managing complex projects
- 7+ years project experience
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Extensive experience in cost estimating and planning software / CostX
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
