Argus Fire Protection is a well-known New Zealand-owned company with over 40 years of experience in the fire protection industry. The company covers all aspects, including fire system design, installation, and ongoing testing and maintenance.

Due to continual growth and our desire to train and bring new people into the fire protection industry, we are looking for someone to join us in an apprentice-type role, with the ultimate goal of completing the level 4 trade-equivalent qualification and becoming a skilled and capable fire alarm technician.

The role will be linked to our Alarm minor works/service team, but as part of the learning and development opportunities for the role, you will spend time working in and be exposed to all our divisions and all aspects of fire protection.

We currently have a vacancy for a Fire Alarm Technician Trade Assistant based out of our Wellington branch.

The prerequisites for these roles are:

• A restricted/full driver's licence and the ability to transport yourself to worksites around the Wellington region.
• You will have some practical/technical knowledge and an initial understanding of Fire Protection systems of all types.
• A passion for meaningful and purposeful work.
You work well without supervision and possess excellent punctuality and time management skills
