We're looking for a Business Development Manager – Priority Services to identify, secure and grow new business opportunities within one of our most specialised service offerings. This role goes beyond traditional freight sales, focusing on customers with time-critical, customised and high-value logistics requirements across New Zealand and Australia.

Whether supporting eCommerce businesses, urgent freight movements or complex customer implementations, you'll work closely with operational experts to develop solutions that deliver speed, reliability and exceptional customer outcomes.

About The Role - Mō Te Tūranga

In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for developing new business opportunities and building strong customer partnerships across Team Global Express Priority Services.

You'll Also Play a Critical Role In

  • Driving new business growth – identifying, pursuing and securing new customers within Priority Services.
  • Delivering solution-based sales – understanding customer challenges and designing tailored logistics solutions that meet their operational needs.
  • Supporting eCommerce and integration projects – partnering with customers through onboarding, implementation and growth initiatives.
  • Expanding customer opportunities – leveraging the wider Team Global Express network to maximise value and service offerings.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally – working closely with operations, customer service and commercial teams to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.
  • Maintaining commercial excellence – managing pipeline activity, forecasting and customer engagement through Salesforce.

What will you bring? – Ōu Pūkenga?

  • Proven success in business development, sales or account acquisition within transport, logistics, supply chain or another service-based industry.
  • Experience working with eCommerce customers, express freight, parcel, courier or time-critical logistics environments highly regarded.
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills.
  • Exposure to customer onboarding, implementation or integration projects.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and create value-based solutions.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, Salesforce preferred.
  • Self-motivated, resilient and driven to achieve growth targets.
