About the role

As our HSE Advisor, you’ll work closely with operational leaders and frontline teams across the Thames-Coromandel and wider region, providing practical, hands-on HSE guidance. You’ll play a key role in embedding strong safety practices, supporting incident investigations, and helping us continuously improve how we look after our people.

What you’ll be doing

• Partnering with leaders and field staff to foster a strong, values-led safety culture
• Providing advice, coaching, safety training and support across all things Health, Safety & Environment
• Leading and supporting incident investigations using ICAM methodology
• Assisting with risk assessments, site audits, toolboxes, safety alerts and other safety initiatives
• Supporting compliance while keeping HSE practical, approachable, and people-focused

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone who combines technical expertise with empathy, collaboration, and great communication.

You’ll bring:

• ICAM investigation training
• Minimum Level 4 OSH or Diploma (preferred) in Occupational Health and Safety and/or NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
• 3-5+ years’ experience in a HSE advisory role
• Experience in horticulture, arboriculture, or full facilities maintenance (desirable)
• A calm, confident approach and the ability to build trust at all levels
