The Operational Data Analyst is accountable for supporting execution of customer resolution projects in a timely manner for the benefit of our customers. This role will

Execution of Payments Claims Portal processes

Updates of standard data sets from manually supplied sources (such as Term Deposit rates, GTIR customers)

Monitoring of exception reports including recovery after failure

Other tasks may be added from time to time as our standard processes evolve.

As a Operational Data Analyst, you will

Providing CR Squads with documentation around what is required from them to make payments

Receiving data files from Customer Resolution Squads for further processing

Support other teams outside of Customer Resolution by creating SDA files when required

Receiving and processing files from other parts of the business, and loading these into the relevant databases

Working as part of a project team employing Agile methods and processes

Using SAS coding skills to create appropriate files and processes

Low-level Data analysis and business process analysis

Maintaining processes, and ability to understand and fix a process if it has failed

Assuring/Reconciling payments

Ensuring high levels of data accuracy in relation to customer remediations, esp regarding payments

Communicating with CR squads in terms of timetabling and availability

Monitoring a range of scheduled exception reports created historically within Customer Resolution, and recovering from any failures

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Experience in SAS coding (development and analysis skills) or equivalent data coding, with the ability to pick up basic SAS skills quickly

Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to collaborate with people at different levels

Responsibility for high quality, high output work and strong attention to detail and timeliness

Demonstrate a high regard for urgency and deadlines

Problem-solving and analytical mind-set

An understanding of operational risk, and the ability to speak up regarding potential or actual breaches
