About the role

The Product Manager is responsible for managing the performance of assigned products or product areas against agreed targets, including client outcomes, regulatory compliance, efficiency, profitability and innovation. You will identify and manage product risks, issues and improvement opportunities, and lead the delivery of product changes across the business. Working within the Product Development and Review Framework (PDARF), you will identify opportunities, develop business cases, secure resources, and drive successful delivery. This includes managing cross-functional impacts, ensuring alignment, and measuring the success of product initiatives. You will play a key role in supporting product understanding across the business, ensuring product intent is clear, and that enhancements continue to meet customer needs and market expectations.

We are looking to fill 1x permanent and 2x fixed term (24 month) vacancies.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor and review product performance across the lifecycle to ensure fair client outcomes and optimal results
  • Identify areas of under-performance and develop improvement initiatives, including preparing recommendations
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of product changes and new product initiatives using PDARF
  • Provide expert product guidance and interpretation across the business, including supporting risk, compliance and client resolution teams
  • Proactively identify and recommend opportunities to simplify, enhance and innovate products to meet customer and market needs

About you

  • An experienced product professional with 10+ years in insurance or financial services and strong product and risk knowledge
  • Client-focused, with the ability to balance customer outcomes, compliance and commercial performance
  • A critical thinker who can analyse data, identify trends and drive practical solutions
  • A strong relationship builder who collaborates effectively across teams and influences stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage product delivery and change initiatives end-to-end across a complex environment
