About The Role

Join Ryman Healthcare as the Village Manager of E rnest Rutherford Retirement Village in Nelson. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced operational leader to take responsibility for a well-established retirement village and lead its continued success. You'll be responsible for delivering exceptional resident experiences, developing high-performing teams, driving commercial performance, and ensuring the village operates efficiently, safely, and sustainably.

Working closely with residents, families, your leadership team, and support office functions, you'll create a positive and engaging environment where people feel valued, supported, and connected. You'll also play a key role in identifying opportunities for improvement, leading change initiatives, and ensuring the village continues to perform strongly across all areas of the business. Leading a large multidisciplinary team, you'll balance customer outcomes, people leadership, financial performance, sales success, and operational excellence to ensure the village continues to thrive.

About You

You're an experienced operational leader with a track record of leading large, multi-disciplinary teams and delivering strong customer, people, and commercial outcomes. You bring sound judgement, strong financial and commercial acumen, and the ability to use data and insights to drive decisions, improve performance, and lead successfully through change.
