We're looking for a full-time Customer Specialist to join our team at Botany Downs Branch. This opportunity requires Mandarin language skills to support and connect with our diverse local community.

Te Tūranga | The Role

As a Customer Specialist, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, creating positive experiences through every interaction. Whether you're helping with everyday banking, supporting customers to use our digital tools, or connecting them with specialist support, you'll play a key role in making banking simple, easy and rewarding.

You'll

  • Deliver exceptional customer service across a wide range of everyday banking needs
  • Assist customers with onboarding, account maintenance and basic banking enquiries
  • Educate customers on ASB's digital and self-service tools, including our Mobile Banking App and online banking services
  • Have meaningful conversations to understand customer needs and recommend suitable products and services
  • Resolve customer queries efficiently and connect customers with specialists when required
  • Build confidence and capability in customers through simple, digital-first solutions
  • Work collaboratively within a high-performing branch team
  • Demonstrate sound risk awareness while following policies and procedures

Working Hours

Botany Downs is a 7-day trading branch, so flexibility is important.

This is a full-time position working across a rotating roster which may include weekdays and weekends. You'll enjoy variety in your schedule while being part of a supportive team committed to delivering exceptional service whenever our customers need us.
