About The Role

We're partnering with leading AI research teams to build smarter, more accurate AI systems — and we need population health experts to help us get there. As a Population Health Informaticist, you'll apply your expertise in health data and analytics to evaluate, improve, and inform AI outputs related to public health, epidemiology, and community health outcomes.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role that lets you contribute meaningful work on your own schedule.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate AI-generated content and analyses related to population health for accuracy, completeness, and clinical relevance
  • Review and assess data-driven insights on health trends, disparities, and community-level outcomes
  • Provide structured expert feedback on dashboards, data pipelines, reporting frameworks, and surveillance methodologies
  • Identify gaps, errors, or misleading interpretations in AI outputs across public health topics
  • Translate complex population health concepts into clear, actionable feedback that improves AI model performance
  • Contribute to the development of evaluation criteria for health informatics content

Who You Are

  • Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets
  • Strong analytical thinker with the ability to critically assess health data and outcomes
  • Comfortable evaluating data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting tools for quality and accuracy
  • Able to communicate complex insights clearly and in structured formats
  • Self-motivated and reliable — able to work independently and asynchronously

Nice to Have

  • Background in epidemiology, biostatistics, public health informatics, or a related field
  • Familiarity with health surveillance systems, EHR data, or community health metrics
  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Experience translating health data findings for non-technical stakeholders
