We have an exciting opportunity for a People Operations Consultant to join our People Operations team. This is a key role focused on delivering end-to-end People Operations support while driving quality, consistency, and great outcomes for our people.
Mō te tūranga | About the role
As a People Operations Consultant, you will provide end-to-end operational support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring timely, accurate, and customer-focused delivery of people services.
You’ll work closely with the wider People team, leaders, and key stakeholders to resolve queries, manage transactions, and identify opportunities to improve the employee experience.
This role combines strong operational delivery with problem-solving and stakeholder engagement, requiring attention to detail, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset.
In This Role, You Will
- Deliver timely and accurate People Operations support across the employee lifecycle
- Manage employee data and transactions, ensuring quality, completeness, and compliance
- Resolve queries from employees and leaders through ticketing and contact channels
- Provide guidance on People processes, policies, and systems
- Partner with stakeholders to support delivery of key People initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, and employee experience
- Ensure all activities meet risk, compliance, and legislative requirements
- Maintain data integrity, confidentiality, and secure handling of employee information
- Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture

You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in People Operations, HR administration, or a similar role
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience managing high volumes of work with accuracy and efficiency
- Sound knowledge of HR processes, systems, and data management practices
- Understanding of risk, compliance, and confidentiality in a people environment
- Experience with Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) would be advantageous
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment
- A continuous improvement mindset and problem-solving capability
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel)
