About the Auckland System Management (ASM) Alliance

The ASM is an alliance between HEB Construction, Fulton Hogan and Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to operate and maintain Auckland's motorway network. The Alliance is expected to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders as well as suppliers to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers using the Auckland transport system. Estimated project dates are from July 2019 to June 2028.

The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to support the Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) delivery on a large-scale motorway maintenance contract. As our TTM Planning and Resourcing Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the delivery of works on the ASM network, enabling all programmed delivery work to proceed. You will assess upcoming programs of work, resource and align shift plans with all relevant parties, and communicate the plan for the team to deliver.

What you will be doing

As TTM Planning and Resourcing Coordinator, you will play a key role in the successful and efficient delivery of the TTM program, providing an effective service to the wider teams and key stakeholders. You will have a variety of responsibilities including:

  • Planning and coordinating TTM delivery programmes, including resource forecasting, scheduling, and network availability planning to support efficient delivery.
  • Liaising with key stakeholders, including operational teams to align work programme, manage changes, and resolve resource constraints.
  • Monitoring programme performance, maintaining accurate records, reporting on planned versus actual outcomes, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Coordinating TTM resources, equipment, and Traffic Management Plan (TMP) requirements, ensuring all relevant plans, documentation, and information are effectively communicated.
  • Supporting commercial administration through weekly validation of purchase orders and invoices.

About You

Our ideal candidate will be a self-motivated individual with a planning background and the following qualifications, experience, and skills:

  • Proven experience in planning and work scheduling.
  • Experience working with multiple parties and scope of work preparation.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly excel.
  • Experience working in contracting and/or traffic management advantageous.
  • Knowledge in civil and roading maintenance industry is highly advantageous.
  • Qualification in engineering, project management or similar advantageous
