People & Culture Coordinator
Enviro NZ
At Enviro NZ, we’re making it easier for New Zealanders to shift to a more sustainable way of life. Across the country, our people deliver practical environmental solutions that support communities and businesses every day.
We’re a down-to-earth organisation where people are approachable, collaborative, and focused on doing things well.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging HR professional who’s keen to build experience in a broad and fast-paced People & Culture Coordinator role. In this busy role, you’ll be the first point of contact for P&C queries from across the business, providing practical support and helping to keep things running smoothly day to day.
You’ll support the full employee lifecycle, helping to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes — from recruitment and onboarding through to employment changes, systems updates, and offboarding.
A big part of this role is coordination and communication. You’ll be working with managers, candidates and employees every day, helping them understand processes, and making sure things are done accurately and on time.
You’ll also be across a wide range of P&C administration, mainly preparing employment agreements, compliance checks, systems maintenance and supporting ongoing P&C processes.
This is a role for someone who enjoys variety, loves interacting with people, likes being busy, and takes pride in getting the detail right.
About You
You’re someone who doesn’t wait to be told what to do — you get in, ask questions, and figure things out. You’re organised, practical, and comfortable juggling competing priorities, and there is no task too big or too small for you. You’re also curious, resilient, and happy to pick up the phone to ask questions so you fully understand what’s needed before getting on with it. You’ll always have the support and guidance of a highly experienced supportive and fun P&C team!
You’ll Likely Bring
- A relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience in an HR/P&C coordination or administration role
- Good understanding of NZ employment legislation
- Confidence working across multiple systems and keeping accurate records
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships quickly
- A proactive, positive approach, even when things are busy or hectic
What’s On Offer
We offer an attractive salary, reviewed annually, along with a range of benefits that support both your work and wellbeing, including:
- You’ll be joining a really supportive P&C team that is great to work with and genuinely enjoys what we do. It’s a busy environment, but we all pitch in, help each other out, and have a good laugh too.
- Modern head office with free onsite parking and easy access to public transport
- Complimentary gym membership and access to onsite tennis courts
- Employee wellbeing initiatives, including EAP support
- A genuinely inclusive workplace where people can bring their whole self to work
- Opportunities to gain exposure across the full P&C function
If you’re looking for a role where you can build your P&C experience in a supportive, fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV and a short cover letter telling us why this role is a good fit for you.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a Pre-Employment Health Assessment (including drugs test) and complete a Ministry of Justice criminal records check, the results of which must be to EnviroNZ’s satisfaction. Applicants must also have NZ citizenship, residency or open work visa.
