About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga
As the Brand & Sponsorships Specialist, you are responsible for building brand equity and managing New Zealand's sponsorship portfolio by:
- supporting the Senior Manager - Brand, Partnerships & Acquisition in driving top‑of‑funnel brand awareness, consideration and the 'why nib' value proposition across all channels to support acquisition and retention.
- driving and executing sponsorship strategy, activation and SEO initiatives to maximise brand visibility and high‑quality traffic.
- strengthening brand‑led acquisition, driving & evolving the 'why nib' value proposition, and ensuring sponsorships and SEO deliver measurable commercial benefits.
This role plays a key part in translating brand strategy into compelling, consistent execution across campaigns, distribution channels, marketing and consumer touchpoints.
Working cross‑functionally with marketing, product, partnerships, and external stakeholders, the Brand & Sponsorships Specialist ensures all brand and sponsorship activity aligns to strategic objectives, maximises return on investment, and enhances brand equity.
About you | Ko Wai Koe
You bring experience working in a regulated environment, ideally within financial services, with a strong understanding of compliance considerations and the importance of clear, accurate communication.
You're a confident stakeholder manager, able to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively across marketing, product, sales, and external partners to deliver aligned outcomes.
With a solid understanding of customer behaviour and market trends, you use insights to inform brand and sponsorship strategies, ensuring initiatives resonate with target audiences.
You have proven experience delivering brand campaigns, sponsorships, partnerships or activations, and bring a strong grasp of brand strategy, positioning, and value proposition development.
- Tertiary degree in Marketing / Business
- Experience working with media, PR and creative agencies (desired)
- Experience in measuring effectiveness of marketing campaigns (desired)
