Te Whiwhinga Mahi | The Opportunity

As our Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing products across their full lifecycle, from discovery and definition through to launch, optimisation and ongoing management.

Working across a diverse portfolio, you will translate customer, market and operational insights into products and services that deliver value for Chorus, our customers and the communities we connect. You will help shape direction, define requirements, prioritise opportunities and work closely with technology teams to bring enhancements and improvements to life.

Operating in a cross-functional, squad-based environment, you will collaborate with technology, design, marketing, sales, operations and customer-facing teams to balance customer needs, commercial outcomes and delivery priorities.

This is a role for someone who enjoys navigating complexity, building strong relationships across a range of stakeholders, and turning ideas and insights into practical outcomes.

You are a customer-focused and commercially aware professional who enjoys working across multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment. You are comfortable engaging with both business and technical stakeholders and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve outcomes.

To Be Successful In This Role, You'll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience managing products through their full lifecycle, from discovery and definition to launch, management and optimisation.
  • Experience defining requirements, priorities, roadmaps and measures of success.
  • Commercial acumen, including exposure to performance monitoring, forecasting, pricing or financial outcomes.
  • The ability to translate customer, market and operational insights into meaningful improvements and commercial outcomes.
  • Experience working alongside technology and engineering teams to shape and deliver enhancements.
  • An ability to engage with technical concepts and understand how platforms, networks or systems enable customer experiences.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across a broad range of teams.

Experience within telecommunications is desirable, particularly an understanding of network technologies and how technical capabilities translate into customer experiences.
