Mō Tēnei Tūranga Mahi – About the Role

We’re seeking an Academic Staff Member – Business to deliver high-quality teaching across our business programmes, including Level 6 Marketing, Level 5 Business courses, and Level 4 Certificate in Business - Administration & Technology.

In this role, you’ll design engaging learning, assess student progress, and support learner success and industry relevance. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues and bring your expertise in areas such as marketing, business administration or a variety of business disciplines to enrich delivery.

This is a flexible opportunity (3-5 days per week). Please include your preferred hours and the courses you feel confident teaching in your cover letter.

Ngā Pūkenga Me Ngā Wheako – Skills and Experience

  • A degree or trade qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline
  • Current knowledge of industry practices and developments within the relevant field
  • Demonstrated relevant industry experience
  • Proficiency in key business programme disciplines
  • Ability to support and guide learners to achieve their learning outcomes
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to effectively plan, organise, coordinate activities, and meet deadlines
  • Well-developed digital literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • A genuine passion for business education, with a commitment to enhancing practice and contributing to industry through teaching
