About The Role
Join the dedicated team at the 5-star Park Hyatt Auckland as a Guest Service Officer - Front Office. This is a Full-Time position Permanent role, is based in the heart of Auckland CBD and plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our discerning guests.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide a warm and friendly welcome to all guests, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience
- Assist guests with enquiries and requests, anticipating their needs to exceed their expectations
- Manage guest accounts, process payments, and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Keep detailed records and maintain an organized filing system
- Actively promote the hotel's facilities, services and special offers to guests
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve guest issues and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures and health & safety regulations
What We're Looking For
- 1-2 years' experience in a front office or customer service role, ideally within the Hotel industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the confidence to handle difficult situations with tact
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and front office operations(preferably Opera)
- Fluency in English, with additional language skills an advantage
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Must have legal working rights in New Zealand
