He whakamārama mō te tūranga mahi | About the role
This newly created 12-month fixed term role provides end-to-end coordination and administrative support across the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring recruitment activities are delivered efficiently, accurately, and with a strong focus on candidate experience.
Working closely with Talent Acquisition Business Partners and hiring managers, you'll help keep recruitment processes running smoothly while maintaining high levels of service and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end recruitment coordination and administration support across multiple portfolios.
- Screen applications against agreed criteria and support candidate shortlisting activities.
- Coordinate interviews, including scheduling candidates, hiring managers, and interview panels.
- Manage and schedule pre-employment checks, including references, medicals, police vetting, and employment eligibility verification.
- Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment data within Workday, ensuring system integrity and compliance.
- Support candidate communications throughout the recruitment process to deliver an exceptional experience.
- Assist with reporting, recruitment metrics, and data analysis.
- Coordinate onboarding activities and support a smooth transition for new employees.
- Provide administrative support for Watercare's Early Careers programmes, including graduate, intern, and student recruitment initiatives.

You'll Bring
- Previous experience in recruitment, HR administration, coordination, or a similar support role.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong administration and data management capabilities.
- Experience working with HR or recruitment systems (Workday experience advantageous).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative approach and ability to build effective working relationships.
- A high level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail.
