About The Role
We’re looking for a Compliance Lead to shape and drive Gallagher Security’s product and operational compliance agenda. You’ll own the roadmap, bring clarity to key risks and requirements, and ensure initiatives are prioritised and delivered in line with business goals.
Working cross-functionally with product, engineering, regional compliance, legal and wider teams, you’ll embed compliance into everyday decision-making. You’ll also build strong external relationships with test laboratories, standards committees and regulatory bodies to support market access and successful outcomes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and evolve Gallagher Security’s compliance framework, roadmap and processes.
- Communicate compliance priorities, risks, progress and upcoming requirements to key stakeholders.
- Manage and mentor Compliance Officers and provide technical guidance across compliance activity.
- Monitor national and international standards, regulations and market requirements.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure compliance is considered in product development and operational decisions.
- Build relationships with testing laboratories, standards bodies and regulatory bodies.
- Track compliance initiatives, milestones, expenditure and resource needs.
About You
You cut through complexity, translating standards and regulations into clear, actionable outcomes. Confident and collaborative, you influence across diverse stakeholders and balance technical detail with commercial priorities. You demonstrate strong leadership skills and business acumen in your actions and decisions.
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in product, electrical/electronic or GRC environments, including people leadership.
- Relevant tertiary qualification; electrical/electronic, risk management, CISM or CISSP-related qualifications are desirable.
- Strong understanding of product regulatory regimes such as RCM, CE, FCC and RoHS.
- Strong understanding of product certification programs such as UL, IEC and EN standards.
- Knowledge of electrical safety, radio frequency, cyber and security standards.
- Proven ability to lead compliance initiatives and communicate requirements clearly.
- Strong leadership capability, including mentoring, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance compliance, security, product quality, customer expectations, time-to-market, and business objectives.
- Desirable experience with cryptographic or cloud computing security standards.
