The Role
This Contracts Administrator position offers a broad and dynamic opportunity to work across multiple projects from tender stage through to completion.
You will support project delivery through a combination of contract administration, financial oversight, and reporting, working closely with Project Engineers, operational leadership, and finance.
This role suits someone who enjoys balancing analytical and commercial thinking with strong coordination and communication, ideally bringing a QS-leaning skillset with the ability to grow into the softer aspects of stakeholder engagement and project delivery.
Role Requirements
- Experience in contracts administration, quantity surveying, or project coordination within construction or civil environments
- Strong understanding of project costing, financial reporting, and budget tracking
- Ability to support tendering processes including estimating and documentation
- Proven capability coordinating multiple projects at varying stages
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and opportunities
- High attention to detail across reporting, compliance, and documentation
- Effective communicator with both internal teams and external stakeholders
- Understanding of New Zealand construction standards, contracts, and health and safety practices
- Relevant qualification in construction, engineering, quantity surveying, or similar (or equivalent experience) preferred but not essential
- Full New Zealand driver licence
