Advisor, Marketing and Communications
Greater Wellington
We're looking for a motivated Advisor to join our friendly and knowledgeable Corporate Communications team. This is a full-time, fixed term role, through to August 2027, based in our vibrant Cuba Street office.
About the role
As an Advisor, you will support the planning and delivery of marketing and communications for the corporate groups within Greater Wellington, utilising customer and performance insights to inform planning and evaluation. The role also requires creating engaging internal communications for our kaimahi.
The Advisor reports to the Manager, Corporate Communications, in the Communications department.
Skills and experience required
- Experience planning and delivering marketing and communications projects aligned to organisational objectives
- Capability in developing engaging internal communications that build staff understanding and connection
- Ability to provide timely, quality communications collateral that aligns with brand standards
- Well-developed relationship and stakeholder management skills, confident acting as a main point of contact and managing expectations across teams
- Understanding and knowledge of te ao Māori concepts and tikanga
- Skilled verbal and written communication skills
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, public relations, or equivalent experience, with at least three years' experience in a marketing and communications role.

The remuneration for this position, inclusive of all benefits, is $83,998 to $125,997 with a midpoint of $104,998. Starting remuneration will depend on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
