Road Transport Manager

Bhullar Transport Limited operates transport services in Auckland and requires a Road Transport Manager to organise and control transport operations. The role is essential to manage fleet operations, coordinate transportation schedules, and ensure efficient and compliant delivery of goods to customers.

Position Title: Road Transport Manager

Number of Positions: 1

Location: Auckland, New Zealand

Pay Rate: $32 – $38 per hour

Hours of Work: 30 – 40 hours per week

Key Requirements

• At least 2 Year's of Experience OR Level 4 Qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Organise and manage maintenance and use of transport vehicles and equipment.
• Plan and implement transportation schedules based on client requirements.
• Liaise with customers regarding transport services and handle enquiries or complaints.
• Arrange collection and delivery of goods across assigned routes.
• Ensure goods are transported in appropriate conditions to maintain quality.
• Maintain operational records, reports, and transport documentation.
• Monitor and coordinate loading, unloading, and dispatch activities.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and workplace health & safety requirements.
• Supervise drivers and monitor operational performance.
• Identify and resolve transport and logistics issues to ensure timely service delivery.
