The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging HR professional to step in and build experience in a broad and fast-paced People & Culture Coordinator role.

Working within a supportive and high-performing team, you will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day delivery of people operations across the employee lifecycle, while also contributing to projects that enhance systems, processes and the overall employee experience.

You will have exposure to both operational HR and wider initiatives where you will:

  • Coordinate recruitment processes, including interview scheduling and liaison with candidates
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities to ensure a seamless employee experience
  • Maintain and update systems, employee records and reporting
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries and manage the P&C inbox
  • Assist with the administration and coordination of ongoing and cyclical processes
  • Coordinate and support health, safety and wellbeing activities, including committee meetings and reporting
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement of the systems and processes
  • Support with the delivery of employee communications relating to P&C policies, processes, and updates

About you

  • A relevant HR qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • An ability to manage competing priorities and work at pace
  • A proactive, resilient, and tenacious mindset
  • Confidence building relationships and supporting stakeholders
  • An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and an appreciation for te reo Māori and tikanga in the workplace
  • A genuine commitment to working in a values-driven environment
