About the role | He Aha Te Tūranga
As the Adviser & Group Marketing Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the B2B & Sponsorship Marketing Lead in the coordination and execution of:
- Compelling marketing communications and activity to support growth across the nib Adviser, Group and Iwi sales channels.
- Building positive brand awareness and consideration positioning nib as a thought leader and expert within the health and wellbeing category.
Responsibilities include coordinating marketing activity, communications and execution with external agencies (e.g. creative and PR), liaising with internal stakeholders, financial management, reporting and day-to-day optimisation of marketing channels to achieve objectives (sales policies, lapse, API, brand metrics) for Adviser, Group and Iwi.
About you | Ko Wai Koe
You bring at least 3-4 years' experience in marketing or within a creative agency, with a strong understanding of how to deliver effective, audience-focused campaigns.
You have hands-on experience coordinating marketing communications campaigns and measuring their effectiveness, using insights to continuously optimise performance and outcomes.
With a keen eye for messaging, you're skilled at creating and recognising strong copywriting-ensuring all communications are clear, engaging, and aligned to brand tone and objectives.
You'll bring:
- Tertiary degree in Marketing / Business preferred
- Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Proven ability to work to deadlines and deliverables
- Experience managing relationships with external creative agencies
- Confidence in managing stakeholders
- Demonstrated analytical capabilities
- Experience in the insurance industry, or financial or health services (preferred)
- Understanding of digital and social media (desired)
- Experience in direct & database marketing practices (desired)
- Experience in working with PR activities, sponsorship and events(desired)
