The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced

Category Activation Manager to join our Customer & Category Activation team.

This is an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between strategy and execution—bringing category, shopper and marketing strategies to life across New Zealand's leading retail customers.

Working closely with Category, Marketing, Sales and Field teams, you'll develop customer activation plans that deliver commercial results, create engaging in-store experiences and strengthen our partnerships with customers. What You Will Do

  • Develop and deliver customer and channel activation plans that drive category growth
  • Translate shopper, category and customer insights into compelling in-market activations
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing and Category teams to execute best-in-class campaigns
  • Manage promotional calendars, trade investment and activation planning processes
  • Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Analyse campaign performance and continuously improve activation effectiveness
  • Champion a consistent, insight-led approach to customer activation

What You Will Bring

  • 3–5 years' experience in Category, Sales, Trade Marketing or Marketing within FMCG
  • Experience using data and shopper insights to influence commercial decisions
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using IRI, Nielsen or similar market data tools
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver at pace
  • Commercial mindset with a passion for creating winning customer experiences
  • Relevant tertiary qualification
