About the role

We are seeking 2 passionate Registered Nurses to provide quality care to our residents at Merivale Village (MER) and the Village Palms (TVP) in Christchurch.

Both roles are part time permanent roles for 22.5 hours a week plus paid breaks.

• Role at MER- Night shifts on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

• Role at TVP - Night shifts on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

We offer top hourly rates and allowances as well as an amazing team to work in!

• Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care.
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Work collaboratively with other team members
• Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families.
• Provide compassionate and high-level care.

About you

You pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service to our residents and have empathy for the older person. You also have:

• Current Practicing Certificate and first aid certificate
• Strong nursing experience, aged care - even better!
• Up to date knowledge of wound care management
• Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills.
• You are also a team player with a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.
