We're looking for a Digital Adoption and Training Specialist to join Te Kuru, where you'll play a key role in supporting the successful adoption of digital tools, Microsoft 365 technologies, and emerging AI solutions across the Ngāi Tahu Group.

Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

As our Digital Adoption and Training Specialist, you'll design and deliver engaging learning experiences that help kaimahi confidently embrace new technologies and ways of working.

Working alongside business leaders, project teams, and change initiatives, you'll create practical training solutions, deliver workshops and coaching, develop digital resources, and support the successful adoption of Microsoft 365 tools, AI technologies, and other workplace systems.

You'll also help identify capability gaps, gather adoption insights, and continuously improve how we support learning and digital change across the organisation.

Ngā Kawenga Matua | Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging digital learning experiences, workshops, guides, videos, and support resources
• Support the successful adoption of Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and emerging AI technologies
• Partner with change initiatives to develop practical training and enablement plans
• Provide coaching and just-in-time support to build digital confidence across teams
• Promote safe, effective, and responsible use of digital tools, data, and AI technologies
• Monitor adoption trends, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Contribute to scalable learning approaches and champion networks that support future digital initiatives
• Support change, release, and project activities across the wider technology environment

Ngā Pūkenga e Rapu Ana Mātou | What You'll Bring

• Experience in a training, learning, enablement, or digital adoption role
• Confidence facilitating workshops and delivering both online and in-person learning
• Strong content creation skills with the ability to simplify complex information
• A passion for Microsoft technologies and digital workplace tools
• Curiosity and enthusiasm for AI, automation, and emerging technologies
• Understanding of change management principles and user adoption practices
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A willingness to learn and engage with Ngāi Tahu values, tikanga, and te reo Māori
