- Full-time, Permanent contract with a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed per week.
- Monday – Friday and may be required to participate in a standby roster
About the Role
Looking for your next big opportunity? We’ve got an exciting Team Leader role just for you! In this position, you’ll co-ordinate distribution network employees and deliver the required customer service level agreement outcomes. To ensure work is completed safely, on time, to an appropriate quality standard, making a real impact.
- Planning of work for staff and leading staff in the field on a daily basis.
- Utilising of subcontractors to ensure they are working to schedule.
- Managing materials and supplies inventory on site.
- Controlling tools and equipment along with ensuring competency of users
- Ensuring Hazard ID, Time sheets, QA sheets and VO’s are captured and correct.
- Maintaining excellent job productivity and employment relations.
- Ensuring wiring standards and best practice and complied with.
- Achieving safe working methods and the requirements of the Health and Safety in Employment Act and ensuring these are communicated to all staff.
- Understand and comply with your obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and all associated regulations, standards, and approved codes of practice.
- Comply with any reasonable instruction given to you by Omexom relating to health and safety
Qualifications and Skills
- A trade qualification as an Electrician, with current Electrical Registration and a practising licence preferred.
- EWRB Practicing License Required.
- Completed an electrical trade apprenticeship
- Knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements.
- Basic computer experience.
- Able to write brief reports.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with staff and customers – at all levels.
- Team player with emphasis on safety, quality, and the environment.
- Possess a valid full and clean Class 1 NZ driver’s license
