We are looking for a Finance Manager – mView Business Unit to join our team in Christchurch. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role is responsible for overseeing all finance activities for the mView business unit, ensuring accurate financial operations, robust controls, and timely reporting.

This is a hands-on role where you will manage day-to-day finance operations, lead month-end processes, and provide financial insights to support commercial decision-making across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end finance operations including AP, AR, invoicing, and weekly payment cycles
  • Leading month-end close processes and delivering accurate financial reporting, including EBITDA and gross margin
  • Overseeing payroll review and ensuring tax compliance obligations are met
  • Supporting forecasting, pricing strategy, and commercial decision-making
  • Managing risk, audit, and compliance activities, including year-end and external audit requirements
  • Working closely with sales, operations, and regional teams to support business performance

Ō pūkenga - About You

You are an experienced finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment and enjoys partnering with the business to deliver outcomes.

You will bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CA/CPA (or working towards) preferred
  • Strong experience in a finance management or senior financial accounting role
  • Proven expertise across AP, AR, general ledger, and month-end reporting
  • Sound knowledge of financial accounting principles, including revenue recognition and cost allocation
  • Experience with payroll, tax compliance, and audit processes
  • Strong systems capability (e.g. Xero or similar ERP/accounting systems)
  • The ability to provide financial insights to support pricing, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
