About The Role
This is a perfect role for an experienced Bid Manager to provide value right from the get-go.
You will report to our New Business Manager to support the bid process and coordinate bid team input to provide high-quality bid submissions on large, complex commercial projects. This includes full awareness of timescales and responsibilities to achieve compelling targeted content and covers all bid support activities from pre-pursuit strategic discussions and planning, bid project management and creation, technical content drafting and editing to meet requirements, through to graphic design requirements and production and post-pursuit debriefs. We're looking for someone with a creative flair that understands how to deliver a tender submission that is compelling not just compliant.
You will have previous experience within the following but not limited to:
- Review pre-qualification or RFT documents to identify requirements.
- You will potentially come from a design or main contractor background and enjoy the creative process of creating documents / working on projects.
- Can facilitate bid strategy meetings with key personnel to develop and establish Hawkins' value add proposition.
- Develop and manage submission timeline to ensure information inputs, writing, design and bid presentation are all compiled and delivered to meet the deadline.
- Write and coordinate all non-technical components of the bid.
- Review all written content and formatting; and liaise with relevant parties to create an accurate, sharp and consistent document that meets the tender requirements. Strong skills in Adobe Suite and InDesign are desirable, along with expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Word and video editing capabilities.
- Coordinate award submissions, including liaising with award nominees; draft, proofing and designing templates for award submissions.
