About the Role

Position: Casual General Hand Marshaller

Are you detail-oriented and eager to work in a dynamic team? Qube is hiring Casual General Hand Marshallers to handle cargo efficiently and accurately. You'll work alongside our log cartage operators. You must be prepared to work 12-hour shifts in all weather conditions and be on your feet all day.

Location: Gisborne

Status: $31.74 per hour. Casual, as and when required basis

Your job duties would be

• Ticketing Logs – Stapling tickets onto logs ends

• Tallying – Counting, barcode scanning, manually recording, and marking cargo being loaded/unloaded from vessels or moved in/out of storage

• Log Scraping - Cleaning and scraping logs

You will also need to

• Have an excellent can-do attitude and a desire to learn
• Be highly detail-oriented and accurate
• Work well within a team setting
• Reliable, physically fit, and able to work in all weather conditions
• Hold a minimum of Restricted Class 1 driver’s license
