Seeking an experienced Quality Advisor who wants to make a difference
We are seeking an experienced Quality Advisor who brings a professional, industry-based approach to quality management and is motivated to make a meaningful impact. This dynamic role, reporting to the Academic Quality Leader, is based in the Academic Centre and focuses on strengthening and embedding robust quality frameworks, including policies, processes, and continuous improvement practices. The role supports the organisation to meet internal and external quality expectations through structured, evidence-based approaches, and plays a key part in driving consistency, efficiency, and high-performance quality outcomes across MIT and Unitec.
The successful applicant will bring
- A relevant industry/academic qualification
- Demonstrated track record of success in senior role in a quality assurance related function
- Experience in managing quality or assurance functions within a large and complex organisation
- Ability to develop and maintain strong and positive relationships both with internal and external stakeholders
- Exceptional analytical skills and a track record of developing and implementing successful solutions
- Demonstrated ability to respond appropriately and calmly and to perform under pressure
- Strong management acumen with a proven record of having met or exceeded performance targets
- Experience in successfully leading an organisation or function through complex change that has resulted in significant performance uplift.
