About The Role

We're growing our Print House team and have two exciting opportunities available—one suited to an experienced Print House Operator and one ideal for someone looking to start or develop a career in print manufacturing.

Whether you're an experienced operator ready to bring your technical expertise to a busy manufacturing environment, or you're motivated to learn and build new skills, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Print House Operator, you'll be responsible for producing high-quality printed products while ensuring production schedules, quality standards and inventory accuracy are maintained. You'll work closely with teams across manufacturing to deliver products that meet customer expectations for quality, functionality and on-time delivery.

Depending on your level of experience, you'll either bring existing knowledge of commercial printing operations or receive on-the-job training and support to develop your skills and confidence.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Operating and setting up print house equipment.
  • Processing print jobs accurately and efficiently.
  • Generating and managing work orders using SAP.
  • Monitoring production schedules to ensure jobs are completed on time.
  • Maintaining print quality, including colour accuracy.
  • Monitoring toner, consumables and stock levels.
  • Issuing stock and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Completing routine stock audits and ensuring work areas remain organised.
  • Responding to production queries and supporting internal customers.
  • Assisting with troubleshooting minor machine issues and escalating more complex faults.
  • Supporting Lean Manufacturing, 6S and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Following all health and safety requirements and contributing to a positive team culture.

About You

We're looking for people with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a genuine commitment to quality.

For Our Experienced Position, You'll Ideally Have

  • Previous experience operating commercial or industrial printing equipment.
  • Experience with production scheduling, work orders and stock control.
  • Confidence using business systems such as SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to prioritise multiple jobs and solve problems independently.
  • A continuous improvement mindset and a willingness to support and mentor others.

For Our Entry-level Opportunity, We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Is eager to learn and develop new technical skills.
  • Has good computer literacy and communication skills.
  • Works well in a team and enjoys a hands-on environment.
  • Has a strong work ethic, takes initiative and is willing to get stuck in.
  • Brings a positive, can-do attitude. Previous manufacturing or printing experience is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Experience with Photoshop or Adobe Creative Suite would be an advantage for either role, but isn't essential.

Why Join Us?

You'll be joining a collaborative team that values quality, innovation and continuous improvement. We offer a supportive environment where you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills, contribute to meaningful work and grow your career within manufacturing.

We Offer

  • Free on-site parking, a subsidised café, and great local eateries
  • KiwiSaver contributions on top of wages
  • A fun, collaborative environment with team-building events.
  • Learning and development opportunities

If you're looking for your next challenge—whether you're bringing years of experience or just getting started—we'd love to hear from you.
