We have graduate property consultant roles available throughout the country, commencing in January 2027.

About our graduate roles
Our property consultancy team are a talented bunch. We have strong technical knowledge and experience and are happy to share this expertise and passion with our developing consultants. By joining our property team, you will contribute to important projects that impact all New Zealanders such as infrastructure, transport, housing, and education.
As a graduate property consultant, you’ll use your knowledge of property, valuation, and relevant legislation to help TPG’s Crown and Local Government clients with the acquisition and disposal of land. You will do this by supporting smooth negotiations and ensuring the process runs efficiently from start to finish. You will work closely with fellow property consultants, solicitors, and planners.
Some day-to-day aspects of the role include:
- Assisting with negotiations on the client’s behalf to acquire or dispose of land
- Drafting and providing quality professional reports, contracts and recommendations to our clients and decision-making bodies
- Investigating the history of tenure and ownership of land
- Dealing with a variety of suppliers and stakeholders including valuers, solicitors, real estate agents, Crown bodies and Iwi groups
- Providing quality client service through courteous, prompt, and efficient communication and reporting while building and maintaining positive relationships.

Eligibility and locations
To be eligible to apply, you will be a current or recent graduate (within the past two years). You will have an undergraduate or post-graduate qualification in property, or another relevant discipline such as business or commerce with a major or minor in property. We have opportunities in our property consultancy teams in Auckland, Hamilton, Napier, Wellington, and Christchurch, starting in January 2027.
