We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Power Wash Technician to join our professional team.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating high-pressure cleaning equipment to provide commercial and industrial cleaning services. The role involves cleaning buildings, exterior surfaces, vehicles and structures while maintaining high safety standards and delivering quality results for clients.

The ideal candidate will have experience with pressure washing equipment, surface preparation, cleaning techniques and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate high-pressure water cleaning equipment to clean buildings, exterior surfaces, vehicles, structures and other commercial areas.
• Use appropriate cleaning solutions, detergents, degreasers and treatment products to remove dirt, mould, grease, stains and other contaminants.
• Assess surfaces and select suitable cleaning methods to achieve effective results without causing damage.
• Prepare, operate and maintain pressure washing equipment including hoses, tanks, pumps, nozzles and related tools.
• Perform routine equipment checks and report any faults, maintenance requirements or safety issues.
• Set up work areas safely by positioning barriers, signage, ladders, equipment and other safety controls.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures, environmental requirements and waste disposal guidelines.
• Inspect completed work to ensure cleaning standards are achieved and customer expectations are met.
• Maintain job records, service reports and documentation relating to completed work.
• Communicate professionally with clients and maintain a positive company image.
• Work efficiently to complete assigned cleaning tasks within required timeframes.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and ensure equipment is stored safely after use.

Skills and Experience Required

The successful applicant should have:

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, pressure washing or a related field; or a relevant qualification.
• Experience operating high-pressure cleaning systems and related equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, surface preparation techniques and safe cleaning practices.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety procedures.
• Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.
• Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality service.
