We are a growing business covering theAuckland region, At Chatrath Limited, we are getting into a new stream of business of Hair dressing. We are looking for 2(two) Hair Dresser to join us. This is the full time permanent position with minimum of 30 hours per week, we may offer you extra hours as required by business.

This is the full time permanent position with minimum of 30 hours per week, we may offer you extra hours as required by business.

This is a permanent full-time position with minimum of 30 hours per week,. You may be required to work extra hours as required. You may be required to work from Monday to Sunday and maybe roasted from for the morning or afternoon as required. The applicant with relevant field will be prefered

You will be hired at a competitive wage rate of $30 to $40 per hour.

Day to Day duties may include but are not limited to:

• Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions
• Recommend hairstyles and haircuts according to customers’ taste.
• Wash, rinse and dry clients’ hair using appropriate shampoos and conditioners (e.g. for oily hair or dry scalp)
• Cut and trimr using professional equipment
• Apply a wide range of hair colouring techniques, like highlights, ombre and balayage
• Create hairstyles for formal events and everyday looks, including braids, ponytails and buns
• Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. color protection creams and hydrating masks)
• Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle preferences
• Manage bookings and serve walk-ins
• Ensure the tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed
• Cross-sell hair care products or services, when appropriate
• Apply threading as per customer request to remove unwanted hairs
• Charge customer and collect payments eg Cash and eftpos handling
• Any other duties as designated by the Management

Skills required

Familiarity with hair treatment products and services, like keratin smoothing

Knowledge about industry trends

Excellent communication skills

Physical stamina to stand for long hours

What we are offering

Permanent Full-time position with a minimum of 30 hours per week

Depending on your skills, a good pay rate between $30 to $40.00 per hour

On-the-job training will be provided if required

Good working culture and team support

Qualification and Work expereience

Level 4 qualification or 2 years experience in the similar field.
