Y ou’ll be joining the Properties team within BNZ’s Operational Excellence function. This team is responsible for delivering property initiatives across the bank, including W orkplace and the Points of Presence ( PoP ) programme. This role supports the Head of Workplace Strategy & Experience and the Head of Programme Delivery, providing coordination, communication, and analytical support to enable effective delivery of workplace projects and PoP programmes .

This is a full time, permanent opportunity based in Auckland. It is a hybrid role with three days in the office and two days where you can work flexibly.

What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?

  • Coordinate communications and stakeholder engagement across workplace and Points of Presence ( PoP ) projects.
  • Develop high-quality presentations, reports, and engagement materials for stakeholders.
  • Analyse workplace data and insights to support planning and decision-making.
  • Track project actions, milestones, and dependencies across multiple initiatives.
  • Provide coordination and administrative support to support programme delivery.

What projects / work will the candidate be working on now and into the next year?

You’ll support the delivery of BNZ’s W orkplace S trategy and the national Points of Presence ( PoP ) programme. This includes workplace planning initiatives, restacks, new location business cases, and branch and workplace go-live activities. The role works across multiple projects at different stages , ensuring coordination, communication, and consistency across delivery.

What is the most exciting thing about this opportunity?

This role gives you exposure to large, visible workplace and property initiatives across the bank. You’ll work closely with senior leaders and contribute to projects that shape how both our people experience their workplaces and how our customers experience BNZ through our branches and Partners Centres. It’s an opportunity to see the tangible impact of your work across both colleague and customer environments.

What technical skills / skills are required for this role?

  • Strong capability in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in a coordination, communications, project support, or analytical role.
  • Ability to produce clear analysis and high-quality presentation materials.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence using digital tools (including Microsoft Copilot) to enhance productivity and deliver high-quality outputs.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
