Manager / Senior Loss Adjuster to lead our Wellington Branch.

Your new role

Reporting To The Southern Regional Manager, You Will Take Full Leadership Of Our High Performing Wellington Branch, Combining Strong People Leadership With Advanced Technical Expertise. You Will

  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Loss Adjusters, setting clear expectations and driving accountability for performance and outcomes
  • Provide senior technical oversight on complex, high value and sensitive claims, acting as a point of escalation and guidance
  • Maintain strong operational discipline, ensuring accurate, timely reporting and alignment with client requirements and compliance standards
  • Champion a high quality, consistent customer experience across all stakeholders
  • Drive business growth through strategic relationship management with brokers, insurers and suppliers, strengthening McLarens' market position
  • Contribute to branch performance through management of your own portfolio of complex claims

About You

You are an experienced

Senior Loss Adjuster who brings both technical excellence and proven people leadership capability. You will have:

  • Extensive experience across Commercial, Domestic and NHI claims, including complex losses.
  • Established experience leading, mentoring and developing high performing teams
  • ANZIIF qualification or equivalent industry, technical or leadership credentials
  • Strong commercial acumen, negotiation capability and sound decision making under pressure
  • A proactive, growth oriented mindset with the ability to build and sustain trusted relationships in the market
  • A solutions focused, empathetic and professional approach
  • You are highly organised, detail oriented, and comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with a personal claims portfolio in a fast paced environment.
