Advisor Marketing and Communications
Greater Wellington
We're looking for an Advisor to join our dedicated and focused External Communications team. This is a full-time, fixed term role through to December 2026, based in our central Wellington office .
About the role
As Advisor, you will report to the Manager, External Communications in the Communications department. You'll support the planning and delivery of communications and marketing activity, with a focus on the Metlink Group within Greater Wellington.
The role contributes to planning and implementation of communications initiatives, develops high-quality content across channels, and works collaboratively with internal stakeholders in the Metlink Group.
Skills and experience required
- Experience and a proven track record in marketing and communications and engagement.
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in marketing and communications.
- Excellent relationship management skills to engage with project members, stakeholders, and other internal/external parties.
- Understanding and knowledge of te ao Māori concepts and tikanga.
- Proactively identify issues and opportunities.
- Be recognised as a skilled verbal and written communicator with a strong relationship, planning, and delivery focus.
- Ability to listen and learn from our customers to improve our communications.

The remuneration for this position, inclusive of all benefits, is $83,998 to $125,997 with a midpoint of $104,998. Starting remuneration will depend on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
