About The Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team at Ernest Rutherford Retirement Village in Stoke Nelson as a Barista. This is a Part Time position working weekends Saturday 0830-1630 and Sunday 0930-1530.

In this role you will:

• Provide an excellent food and beverage service in the café for residents, relatives and visitors - Experience making coffee essential
• Ensuring cabinet foods are heated evenly, temperature- checked, and attractively plated before serving
• Promote a welcoming and caring atmosphere within the village
• Be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the café
• Work closely with, and support your colleagues

About You

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

• Previous experience as a Barista in a busy cafe environment
• Outstanding communication and customer service skills with the ability to multitask with coffee making, serving customers and food service
• Strong empathy with a friendly and approachable demeanour
• A reliable, friendly and professional manner with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
