We're looking for a talented Social Media Content Manager to take our digital entertainment and social experience to the next level.

The role focuses on growing audience engagement, strengthening awareness of One NZ Warriors brands, driving commercial outcomes, and creating an entertainment product that puts fans at the heart of the action.

The Social Media Content Manager will

  • Oversee a high-performing social media content and distribution strategy aligned with brand and commercial objectives
  • Identify content opportunities that leverage current trends, events, partnerships, campaigns, and audience insights.
  • Develop content calendars and support the delivery of campaigns through social media channels, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to amplify reach and engagement.
  • Together with the Brand Manager, ensure brand purpose, tone of voice, and visual identity are executed consistently and to a high standard.
  • Prepare performance reports and recommendations to optimise content and stay ahead of social media trends and best practices
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to the Media & Communications Coordinator to enhance their capability, performance, and career growth.

  • Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll join a small, ambitious, and dynamic organisation based in Auckland and will bring the following experience:
  • 3+ years' experience managing social media channels in sports, entertainment, telecommunications, or consumer brands.
  • Demonstrated experience creating engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Experience managing paid social campaigns.
  • Understanding of influencer and creator marketing.
  • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
  • Experience in analysing social media performance data and reporting insights.
