Our commitment to excellence drives everything we do, and as the Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in upholding this standard.
You will be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and performance of our sortation equipment and systems through the identification and management of the asset reliability risks that could adversely affect our Processing and Automation operations. Your responsibilities will include;
- Conducting thorough reliability assessments and analyses to identify potential areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate reliability best practices throughout the product lifecycle and implement a robust asset care strategy.
- Continuously monitoring and evaluating performance metrics to drive ongoing optimisation efforts.
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance product reliability and minimise downtime.
- Taking ownership for the training standards of our technicians.

Note: As this role is involved in audits & checking machine performance across the country, you will need to be able to do out of town overnight stays approximately every quarter.
Mōu - About You
As a results-driven individual with a passion for operational excellence, you will have strong practical maintenance experience, in reliability engineering and maintenance planning.
You'll be using your sound understanding of Reliability techniques and practices to drive decision making, using your analytical skills to translate data and information, turning this into actionable insights and outcomes.
You'll couple this with;
- Proven experience in reliability engineering or a related role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
- A strong focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment is highly desirable
- Able to travel with a full clean NZ Drivers License.
