Experienced Beekeeper Wanted – Geraldine, South Canterbury

Rigsbee Honey is looking for an experienced beekeeper to join our small, hands-on team based in

Geraldine.

This is a practical full-time role, offering a minimum of 35 hours, working across all aspects of

commercial beekeeping. You’ll be working alongside us in the field, not stuck behind a desk, so you

need to know your way around hives and be confident making decisions on your own.

What we’re looking for

Proven experience in commercial beekeeping (not hobby level)

3 yrs Minimum experience

Strong hive management skills and good practical judgement

Physically fit and comfortable working long days in the field

Reliable, honest, and able to work independently

Full driver’s licence (HT a bonus)
