Digger Operator

We are currently seeking experienced Civil Digger Operators to join our civil clients in Hastings. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled operators looking for steady work and competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating 25–30 tonne excavators confidently

• Working on drainage and civil construction projects

• Reading and working with GPS systems

• Assisting with service locating when required

• Operating wheels, tractors, and rollers (WTR)

• Working as part of a professional civil team on active sites

What We’re Looking For

• At least one year of experience operating diggers/excavators

• Confident operating 25–30 tonne machines

• Current and valid Full driver licence with WTR endorsement (Class 2 advantageous)

• Site Safe certification

• Experience reading GPS

• Some locating experience preferred

• Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented

• Ability to pass a drug test and conviction check

Job Details

• Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays as required

• Schedule: 7:00am – 5:00pm

• $28 - $30 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
